On Nov. 27, college football programs Ohio State and Michigan, made national news as the two teams played a rivalry game that ultimately led to the underdog, the Michigan Wolverines, coming out on top. This was an iconic day in the world of sports; some commentators even called it America's football game of the year. In the assignment I created a Story Map on the Michigan and Ohio State rivalry. StoryMapJS is a free tool to help you tell stories on the web that highlight the locations of a series of events. In this case, I used it as an interactive timeline tool.  Here’s a look inside why this outcome was so monumental for fans of these two teams and football in general.
